Repost from 08: I'm back and MARRIED but missed most of my reception...

Yes that's right girls.......I spent most of my reception in the bridal suite THROWING UP. I would go upstairs, dance for a song, talk to who I could, before needing to go down stairs to get sick. The last two hours I couldn't make it back up to the reception. From vomiting I ended up popping the buttons and zipper on my dress and everything had to be pinned. I started to feel sick on the limo ride to reception hall and got sick on the bus......the night went down hill from there. I practically had to be carried out of the hall at the end of the night.

Now it's hitting me that I missed my OWN WEDDING.......but that day I was so happy to be married to my hubby and that the ceremony was beautiful, that I took it all with stride. I was in good spirits despite puking...........but the more I tell my story, the more upset I get.

I know I wasn't huge poster, and I slowed after I bought my house.......but I don't know what to think right now.......

OMG thats horrible! What was it a virus? Or all the pandemonium of the big day!?

I don't know what it was........could have been viral.....could have been nerves, no sleep, pain medication for my back, I got my period the day before the wedding......all combined into one.....

im sorry to hear that!! maybe you can renew your vows in 10 years! who knows.. write into some TV show maybe they will give you a free re-do wedding!
