Repost from 08: I'm back and MARRIED but missed most of my reception...

Yes that's right girls.......I spent most of my reception in the bridal suite THROWING UP. I would go upstairs, dance for a song, talk to who I could, before needing to go down stairs to get sick. The last two hours I couldn't make it back up to the reception. From vomiting I ended up popping the buttons and zipper on my dress and everything had to be pinned. I started to feel sick on the limo ride to reception hall and got sick on the bus......the night went down hill from there. I practically had to be carried out of the hall at the end of the night.

Now it's hitting me that I missed my OWN WEDDING.......but that day I was so happy to be married to my hubby and that the ceremony was beautiful, that I took it all with stride. I was in good spirits despite puking...........but the more I tell my story, the more upset I get.

I know I wasn't huge poster, and I slowed after I bought my house.......but I don't know what to think right now.......

i'm so sorry u had to deal with this! i couldn't imagine it & i couldn't imagin how u're feeling now ...but i guess this is one of those things where u just have to tell urself 'it could've been worse'...u could've been sick through ur entire morning & ceremony & wanting to vomit on the alter! instead u look absolutely BEAUTIFUL & got to atleast enjoy that part of your day .

u looked beautiful. sorry u got so sick. at my friends wedding she had a migraine headach so she missed the entire cocktail hour & was sick on & off during the rest of the night. its all the stress that leads up to the day. btw your flower girls were adorable.

Man, I wish I looked as good as you when I'm HEALTHY!!! You looked wonderful, but I'm so sorry about your day!! That's terrible. I think a previous poster had a great idea about contacting shows for a re-do. And TWOTY- if it's a vote, I'll vote for you!

And on a selfish note, please tell me that it wasn't the Venetian food that got you sick!!!

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything at the Venetian was AMAZING!!!!!!!! You will have a great time!

Omg, I'm sorry to hear that you were sick on your wedding day. You looked perfect, and from the pics, you can tell one bit that you were feeling under the weather.
