Eternalyyours and I were talking about wearing wedding dresses again and I got an idea to do an 'event' fundraiser where brides could wear their gown, or bridesmaid dresses, or any dress to raise money for breast cancer research. It could be at a hall, with a dj, raffles, etc. Would you attend something like this?

I definetly be interested. I would probably wear my bridesmaid dress from my sister's wedding because my wedding dress in now nicely preserved.
Our family has had to deal with cancer more than a couple of times so this has been close to our hearts. In September 2006 we did a walk a thon at Stonybrook. We wanted to do it this September but it was the day after our wedding and we were headed for our Honeymoon. So, this would be a excellent idea.
