I have been waiting for these to come in the mail since last week, and they finally arrived!! I really love the way they came out-- modern, yet traditional. FH likes them cause they don't look too 'girly'... I just wish the the font was a little darker, but whatever... the pics make it hard to tell.

We customized it from the sample we saw, so it was a little bit of a surprise as to how they came out. Anyway, here they are!!

They are in celedon, ivory and choc. brown.. The celadon paper has a slight shimmer to them.

this has been a very busy week in the world of wedding planning!! Lots of stuff going on..

thanks so much!! We wanted something different, that had 'hints' of the traditional wedding invite look..

We through a bunch of books.. They are fun-- I really liked loooking for STD's-- those are much more fun, with the styles and shapes, etc.

I am actually going to make them.. I used a tri-fold template. I found really nice linen card stock at Kate's Paperie.. Then I am using a ribbon, and a customized seal I am getting from mygatsby.com.. I have a couple of mock-ups.. if you want to see, just need to take some pics.. I am trying to cooridnate all my wedding staionary in the same colors- green/celadon/sage, ivory and choco brown.. My BMs are in green- and there are a lot of gold accents in the wedding- and my dress is Ivory and my mom is going to wear choco brown.

Give me a sec and I'll take some pics of the programs..

ok-- here they are.. the seal is the sample I just got from MyGatsby.... and I also posted a pic of what our monogram will look like.. not our names of course. ETA: The colors of our names will be browm and the ampersand will be in green.

These are just mock-ups- so they are a little messy.. The ribbons were not cut exact, and they are printed in black- but I will print in choco brown- pending I can find a printer with color accuracy! I also need to find another motif I like- as the one I have on the last panel doesn't really go.. Originally that motif was going to be on the seal also.

Oooh I love it!! So, you'll just have a strip of the ribbon in the background of the label, not an actual bow or anything? I really like it!
So, gatsby can customize a seal/label for you?
You did a really great job. Plus, I agree that it will look even better with the chocolate writing...
Maybe you can do some type of longer (horizontal) motif for the third fold?

You've inspired me, maybe I'll actually attempt to make mine!
