How do you feel about sending out cards that say where FH and I are registered with our STD's?? Someone mentioned this to me and I am not sure that I in love with the idea.
Any input?? TIA!!

I dont really like the idea. STD should be for that purpose....telling people when the wedding is and thats all

I don't think you should include registry info with your STDs. You can include them in the wedding invitation or if you are having a shower.

You should not include the registry info with the STDs. Save those cards for your shower.

Honestly the first and only word that came to mind is tacky. That is such a horrible word, but that is all I thought of.

I have to agree with everyone else. Not a good idea...it's asking for a gift.

I don't agree. Registry cards should only be sent out with shower invites IMO.

I agree - don't send it with the STDs. However, you can rely on family and friends to spread the word about where you are registered since some people may want to send you an engagement gift.

Definitely. Registry info should only be in the shower invite. If someone wants to send you a gift after receiving your save the date they will either go online and see where you are registered or call someone close to you and ask.

Re: Repost-Registering and Save The Dates-HELP
i'm including my wedding website, which has links to my registry AND travel info... is this tacky? Many of my guests are OOT and I wanted to use the website for accomodations. OR should I include a letter for OOT guests with that info and leave the website off the STD?
