is a glue gun the best way to go to seal a ribbon? any other suggestions? tried doubel sidded tape, but it didn't stay closed.
we're wrapping our direction, hotel, rsvp, etc cards with ribbon so it will attach to itself.

Re: Repost: ribbon
what kind of ribbon is it?? if it is satin ribbon, then permanent (make sure it is the brand scotch, will hold it closed but it must be permanent). If it is organaza or like a sheer ribbon, im not sure because hot glue will bleed thru and be visible so you may need some sort of an embellishment to cover up the glue spots.

Re: Repost: ribbon
it's black velvet (hey, that's a good song...lol) so i don't have to worry about it showing. the tape just totally didn't work and i want to be sure it stays secure!

i don't see why it wouldn't, but then again i would think the tape would. though the glue dots might be stronger than tape. i've never tried it on ribbon.
