So I just resigtered for Pre-cana for you ladies getting married in a Catholic Chruch, the fee was $175... FH and i are doing the friday night and Saturday sessions in Nov

How far before the wedding should pre-cana be done? I heard about six months. I'm not getting married until Oct. 08, so I figure I still have time. I think FH and I will be doing ours in Douglaston at the Immaculate Conception Center.
Someone from the rectory should call you and let you know when it's being held at your church, at least that is how it is done at my church.

you def have time. the only thing i would say is to call your church and just find out when they have sessions. for example...ours just has them every oct and march.

Ours is FREE!!!! ITs one day (a saturday) and we don't have to do FOCCUS.....SUCKERSSSSSSSSSS jk

My church, St. Hedwig's doesn't have it. I have this years schedule for both the Brooklyn and Rockville Centre diocese. They told me it doesn't matter where I go to prec-cana. As long as we go. So, Douglaston will be the most convenient.

thats where i have to do mine too...We're doing it now bc seems for winter they only have 2 interfaith pre-cana's and after that we dont want to do this when its too close to the wedding, want to get it over with

My priest told me to wait until six months prior to do pre-cana. We were going to wait until winter. I live in philly so FH and I are going to the seminary here to take courses!
I think the cost is only $55!

Yay we did it already. We were lucky to get it in early and done with so we don't ahve to worry about it. We actually did it on Sunday nights at the hosting couples house. IT was very interesting but I am glad we did it.
