Is it that hard to write a name and check off if you are coming or not????? I mean really they don't have to stamp it or even put an address....WHAT IS THE HOLD UP?????
Out of 125 invites i have back 85 and my RSVP date is the 20th... GRRRRRRRRR

we have only a few stragglers and our RSVP date is 8/18. it's mostly FH's side that are the 'problem', however we knew to expect it as FSIL went through this problem last year. we kinda 'know' who will and who will not come. some of them never bothered to respond to FSIL - totally bizarre, but expected for us...
2 of the RSVP's got lost in the mail! my friend send them right away and were surprised when i casually asked in conversation. this made me nervous because i was thinking that some invites could have gotten lost as well

That was my gripe too. We got a lot of phone calls instead. There are some people I totally understand why they could not rsvp right away.

I know the feeling - Mine if the 23rd and I have over 50 RSVP's I am waiting for - I mean that over 100 people... COME ON NOW...

well yes this is true...i wouldn't be worried with someone from my side (maybe 1 or 2) but the FH's side...well i don't trust their word AT ALL! I am in a B**** mood as far as his family members are concerned these days LOLOL....could ya tell

or how about when people say 'of course i'm coming, but i still have time to send in the response' if you know you are coming, send it out right away, why wait until the day of the rsvp?? that drove us crazy! we got 12 rsvp's on the last day

I am not annoyed yet about the responses.
I am more annoyed that Phil decided to order more invitations. Yup, he called Laura and order more. So, now I will have another set of invites with a new RSVP date. Aren't I lucky?????

Yes we got the 'oh yeah they are coming' Then they would call back and say they weren't coming... At one point I said to Dale, that's it. Even if they want to come after they changed their mind a 3rd time, NOOOOO!!! But it didn't happen.
As much as I looked forward to the responses, I hated them.
