response card comments
Just checked the mail and had 3 more responses. The little notes everyone is writing like 'can't wait!' and 'gladly accepts!' makes me so happy! When I get wedding invites I usually just write my name, check off the response card and send it back. In the future I am going to write a little note on the response card knowing it might make that brides day too. It's funny how such a little things make me so happy.

i felt the exact same way, and plan to do the same!it's also nice when the declines put a reason or at least express that they are sad they can't come!

I haven't received any with notes on them... I guess my guests aren't that excited.

I got a long letter from my 'uncle' (my dad's best friend that we call uncle) saying how sorry he was that he couldn't go, and he was so happy for me.Then from my cousin, who is blood related and is more like a brother to me, I got a response card checked off with NO by his sham of a wife (they only got married so she could live on base with him). No explanation, no I'm sorry, nothing. I was so mad.

That's so nice! We haven't had any declines yet (since we just sent out the invites) but I def hope they put a reason when we do start getting them!

I'm sure your guests are excited! I never really knew it was ok to write anything except my name and my response on them lol.
