Response cards
How are October brides doing on your responses? I was happy when I opened the mail today I got 9 more Yes responses. Yesterday was my response due date and I am still waiting for some more late people. I don't understand what is so hard to send in prepaid stamped envelope and it is very rude and so on. I am very glad today that one of my Aunts and two cousins who I haven't seen since I was around 17 is coming to my wedding all the way from California. Also I received a response where they just checked off will not attend and said Sorry on the bottom but they did not put there name on it. I think whoever did this is completely stupid. How am I suppose to know who they are. I sent so many invites. Well I hope October brides are doing well with there responses. I think I will be closer to my numbers now. I was stressing for a bit about it.

Re: Response cards
Due date is this weekend, and still quite a few non-responders. I agree... the stamp is already on there, just fill it out and put it in the mailbox!!!!!!We put little numbers on the back of our cards so we'd know who forgot to sign their names. It actually was helpful for a couple of them!
I hate the idea of calling people to ask whether or not they're coming!

Re: Response cards
Well...my due date is a week from tomorrow and we're still missing about 35%. Not one response today!! ARGH!!That's ridiculous about the person who didn't put their name down! We numbered the backs of our postcards so we knew who they were.
Hopefully-you'll get the rest soon!

Re: Response cards
My due date is Sept. 30 and I got about 47% back.103 Yes's and 18 No's! Keep going at this rate we will have 218 people. It is fun coming home to the replies.

Re: Response cards
we are missing at least 40 cards....due date is next wed.We are close to our #'s, but a few one way or the other can mess things up!!
i tried to elicit responses via email to get a better idea. It worked to a degree :)
the wedding is less than a month away...what if I am under, is it too late to ask others to attend?? (its been know from the begining that we needed to keep it small)

Re: Response cards
I went to the homes of two people I wanted to invite at a later time and invited them personally. I was honest and said that we had really bad space issues, but now that we have the room I would love to have them there.

Re: Response cards
Our due date was last week. A few distant relatives of FH's family never responded - I called FMIL and she followed up with them - they told her they weren't coming, but still, no response card!Welcome New Vendors
