response deadline

HOw many weeks before you wedding date did you have as a resonse deadline? Is 6 weeks too long in advance ? I also have a small 'B' List...

I put 4 weeks before I have to let the RH know a final count as my response deadline. I sent out the invites 6 weeks before my RSVP date to account for some B listers.

Mine is 5 weeks before. I really want all of the RSVPs a month before...so I figured it I said 5 weeks, everyone would get them to me by 4 weeks.

6 weeks before the wedding. I'm sending the invites out to give about 5 weeks for people to respond by the deadline.

I wanted to be extra careful because I know there will be people who either don't respond or don't respond on time.

i did the RSVP date 3 weeks before. Thankfully, we had just about all of our responses. Honestly though, I cut it close. Go with at least 4 weeks!

Thanks!! I was thinking of 5-6 weeks but FH is so nervous he wanted to do 8 weeks!! We are planning on mailng them out 5 weeks before deadine..will that work?
