anyone have any suggestions of a really good restaraunt in or near ronkonkoma? i'm trying to get ideas for our rehearsal dinner.

not sure how many people your having or if the restaurant will do it but here are a few recommendations:
1. Lombardi's on the sound in port jeff 2. elk street grill in port jeff.. 3. H2O- never eaten there but heard its good 4. paces steak house

The only ones I can think of are more Lake Grove area...
Cheesecake Factory The Good Steer I am not too familiar with the area. I know there waw an Italian resturant across the street from the fire department on Portion rd.

What about the bavarian Inn on the other side of the lake? I know they recently renovated...they have all diffent sized rooms last time I was there.

Oh yeah! I had my parents anniversary party there a couple of years ago and everyone kept raving about the food. I would defintily check into them.

La Famiglia in Smithtown. It's a family style italian restaurant on the corner of Main St (Rt 25) and Edgewood Ave.
I also really like carraba's (something like that) which is either nesconset or smithtown on Rt 347 and possibly southern blvd. The food is really good there.

J and R steakhouse in stony brook, GREAT food, and Affordable, check out their website i think they have catering packages listed

Domenico's is a really cute Italian restaurant in Port Jeff and the food is great! Elk St grill is also really good in Port Jeff. Mamma Lombardis in Holbrook is excellent
