Restaurant in Rockville Center/ Oceanside/ Baldwin

My mom is retiring and my sister and I want to throw her a small dinner for about 15-20 people on a Wednesday night. nothing too expensive as we are paying ourselves. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Croxley's - best food!! Oh, it's in RVC, right across from Churchill's.

La Parma is family style if you want that, Sole is great food, but small, I don't know if they would be able to accomodate you. Panchos, Croxley's and Max's are very very casual if you're going for that. You can try Tomato's is a good idea, or Cafe Riviera on Sunrise Highway in RVC. Dario's in RVC has great food, Ciao just opened up in Oceanside, very pretty but food is ok, nothing to rave about, but not awful either

Sole has excellent food and they have a separate party room now - so you should call them.

I've lived in RVC and Oceanside the past 6 years, so if you have any questions, FM me. La Parma is very accomodating for small parties. Sole is extremely yummy. I had my bridal shower at Alias, Smith, and Jones, and I know people really like it, but I didn't think the food was all that great.

We are looking for something nice. Not like a bar. Its going to be mostly my mom's friends. It doesn't need to be fancy, but nice.
