Im making a timeline and was figuring out if I should register in January or March. I dont know when the 'spring' seasonal merchandise comes out. Anyone know? Will I still be able to find thick comforters and stuff?

We just registered over the past two weekends. When it came to stuff like bed & bath the stores told us it's very seasonal so we could just add it at the end. We're also going that with Crate & Barrel b/c they have tons of seasonal stuff.

it depends on the store. i know a lot of stores will do major clearances after christmas and be slowly getting in their spring stuff starting at the end of january/early february.
with blankets though you still should be able to get heavy ones, they usually sell them year round.

plain down comforters & duvets I think you can get year round, at least in BB & B.
But quilts, are very seasonal & patterns of comforters, bedspread & duvets may change. However, I registered in January for my duvet & in July it was in the window of BB & B!
