Return of the EX?

I think that u r not overreacting and it is normal 2 be upset. I agree w/ the others that I don't think it was done intentionally to upset u and at least Fh didn't seem excited to see the pics.

My FH still has pics of his ex. He was one with his first girlfriend (clearly from the 80's----because he had a mullet!) and she wrote on the back of the pic, 'Hold onto this picture forever.' She's married w/ 3 kids and lives in Florida now so I'm not stressing.

honestly, i wouldn't be upset unless I KNEW 100% for sure someone was trying to be a jerk.

i'm not bothered by pictures of my FH and his various ex's because well...i just don't care.

Don't let it bother you. The house sounds like it' s messy and what it comes down to you is that she is just a picture and YOU are his future wife.
I would be totally pissed as well. I found old pictures in Fh's messy desk of his ex and I literally wanted to throw up. But I gathered myself and took a deep breath and remembered 'he is with me now.'
Though, I truly can't STAND his Ex...

Remember, you are his future and his present while she is nothing but his past...

I would be pissed to. But Its nothing to get to bent out of shape of because she is out of the picture now.

no, you're not overreacting at all..I would be hurt too (i'm having some ex-related issues myself ) As much as most people would like to pretend that they're too mature to be bothered by exes, I think most if not all women have a little sore spot in their hearts when it comes to their men's ex, especially when they get thrown in your face in some form....

I was at FH's Dad's house on Saturday and the house is kinda messy but whatever.

so on the kitchen table theres like papers and bills and old mail and newspapers etc....
and theres a picture laying on the table of FH and HIS EX GIRLFRIEND!!!!

***?? seriously?? WHY is this out?? Were they all just sitting around remembering the good ol days before I came along?

Its not that I hate her or anything..I understand FH had a life before me...its just that I have this feeling that his family misses her and doesnt want me around.

FH tells me I'm crazy but then I got to his parents house and FIND A PIC OF THEM TOGETHER ON THE TABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your not over reacting. Last Christmas Eve. MY boyfriend at the time decided he wanted to go and have a cigarette outside with his sister and her boyfriend. As to which I was left by myself with his mother. She decided to take out old photos. Which is fine, so instead of giving me all the photos to look at she insisted on giving me certain ones. Oh here AnnMarie look at this one. Which is one with my Fiancee now and his daughter. Then she showed me another one of his daughter and his ex wife. Which is fine. Then all of a sudden she starts picking out photos of my Fiancee and his ex wife alone. About 5-8 photos. As to which when my Fiancee came back in the house I was like its getting really late (1:00am) we have a long drive home.

This year though I already told my Fiancee I will not put up with her showing me pictures from the past being that now we are engaged. This is going to be a great Christmas Eve. LOL :)
