Returning a Gown to David's Bridal Update

Has anyone ever done this? I'm second guessing my gown choice and thinking about going back to try on more gowns. I bought mine off the rack and it still is in the bag with all tags with the receipt. I know I can't get my money back, but, would they give me a credit so I could apply it towards another dress in the store? tia

*Update* I went to the store in Lake Grove tonight and they were SUPER nice. I explained my situation to the manager there and she said she would exchange the dress with no problem.

yes I am happy everything worked out! I am on my way there tonight to pick up my finished dress!! WOO HOO!
Hopefully I still fit in it!

i ordered my dress is a size 4 and it was too big, so i went back and exchanged for a 2 with no problems, i didnt even have the receipt and they let me do it...im sure you can
