Reviews for Body Rock DJ

Hey all--

Fox Hollow's preferred DJ is Body Rock, haha the name make me laugh.

Does anyone know if they are any good, bad, or have booked them?

I saw them at a showcase and they were just not my thing..it was too sweet 16 like for me. But then again, they were putting out all the stops to try and get people interested. They were too cheesy for me..sorry JMO

I felt the same way when I saw their showcase, but I have heard people like them at their weddings. They were a little too-in-your-face for me considering I don't want the DJ on the dancefloor at all so it wasn't for me.

I met with them and the lady who was also the owner or manager, pretty much told us that since we aren't Italian that we would most likely not pick them.....well she got one part right...we definitely did NOT even consider them after that comment.

we booked them for our wedding....

My brother used them in Dec 2008 for his wedding and I thought they were great. Very high energy & thats what we are looking for! They negotiated price too!

FBIL/FSIL used them for their wedding last May and they were great! Dance floor was packed all night.

i booked with them...i heard nothing but good things...they also ask how much input you want from them for the wedding..i want to be the center of attention soo im not going to have them on the mc the whole night

I got married at the Fox Follow May 2009. I didn't shoose them...They were too Jersey Shore for me....I saw them at a showcase and they just weren't for me.
I used LI Sound who were amazing and I had a packed danced floor all night long.

we booked them because chad from jericho terrace had referred them. they'll do whatever you want them to do as long as you guide them with what you like.

We booked with them. We found them to be a little in your face at showcases, too, but then again every DJ we saw was. We looked through some videos at their offices and liked what we saw as well as getting some recs.

In the end, we went with Body Rock since they were much less expensive than other preferred DJs. They were excellent. You fill out a sheet after booking and you get to choose exactly how much interaction they have with the crowd. We chose mid-range and were very pleased. They were definitely not over the top or in your face at our wedding. HTH!

ETA: Not sure about the racial comment thing. We requested that they play Irish music and they played tons. It was great.

Same for me......They asked us how much participation we want the mc to have with our guests and we told them none. Everyone that I have heard from who has used them said their dance floor was packed the entire nite and that's what we want

I wish you had met with someone else if that lady was obnoxious to say that and ridiculous because it pushed business away. I am booked with them and I also heard nothing but good things. In the initial appointment they ask you how much you want for participation of the DJ. I am not Ialian in any least of the word. IFH is half but you wouldn't know it. 'm sorry they said that to you.

I saw Body Rock at a showcase and I personally did not like them. I spoke to an obnoxious MC that told me they put on the best show. I can't remember his name but to in your face for me. I ended up booking Unique Entertainment. I saw them on 2 other family weddings and I loved them!! Jericho Terrace (my hall) is also recommending them.

We saw them at a showcase and went to visit them and they were all about the club scene. It wasn't us!! She also got mad when we didnt chose them :(
