I checked them out when I was looking for halls. The price was great for the city (something like $115 per person for a Saturday night). The set up was nice, although I wasn't too happy with the 'outdoor' area. The maximum they would allow was 120 people.
I never attended a wedding there .

Really nice there..my friend was considering it. Are you using a wedding planner to book it? My friend went though IGMC when she was looking.

i went there to look at the space for an event for a client. personally, i didn't care for it. maybe it was just the room i saw, but it was kind of run down.
we ended up having the event at the union square ballroom. i suggest you look there.

i checked them out and was a little disappointed. i didn't like how the cocktail hour was on a seperate floor and the ball room seemed very boxy, plus the outdoor space is really small and only accessible during the CH. any smokers would have to go out to the curb on 51st, i figured half of my party would be outside. the prices were okay, comperable to LI prices.

I'm having my February 2007 wedding there. We looked at many places and just felt this was 'it'. They also just re-did the main room where the ceremony takes place and it is BEAUTIFUL. Very elegant and the location is fantastic. We've gone throughthe whole process so if you have any specific questions...please ask.
