How much of a deposit does the RH usually request to sign the contract? Just want to know what I'm up against. TIA

It obviously depends on the RH, but $1000 is a pretty standard deposit.

We had to put down $500 the day we signed our contract.

We were $500, then the final amount due 10 days before our day. We can pay more as we go along if wanted but $500 was our deposit.

We put down $500- then every month the payment gets higher. $1000, 1500, etc.

Ours was $5,000 but now I feel like we were ripped off. I don't think we owe any more money until very close to the wedding though.

We could leave as little as we wanted but a total of $1000 was due in 30 days.

ours was 500 at signing then 1000.00 every 3 months then 50% due 1 month before then remainder due 10 days before HTH
