my priest wants to try and do it the wed before - we are getting married on a sunday....isn't that weird?? i odn't want to sound mena or anything b/c i know he is busy but ew!, a wed night rh dinner??? everyone goes to work, or lives out of town and will have to ocme toit?? it can't work!!!

My rehearsal is on a Thursday and we're getting married on a Sunday. At first I truly did not like it, but at least you have a day or so to just get everything together. I had no choice, all rehearsal are on Thursdays at my church.

My rehearsal was ona Tuesday and my wedding was on a Saturday.

Tell the priest it's impossible to get all of your out-of-town attendants there that far in advance of the wedding. As someone else said, its YOUR wedding and you are paying THEM. My priest wanted us to have it on Thursday for a Saturday wedding and I said No Way and it took him all of two seconds to say that Friday at 4pm would be fine instead!
