I know this has been discussed before, but I want to bring up the topic again since one of my friends got engaged last month and she is looking for a RH for a smaller wedding (about 50-75 people). I am going to totally blow up her spot here, but she tends to lurke on here from time to time. Everyone say hello to Melissa!!! (she is gonna kill me lol) Join the madness already!!

I'm getting married at Leonard's with a 50 person minimum.
You can also look at:
Westbury Manor (upstairs room) Larkfield Manor 60 minimum Garden Room Swan Club (40 person minimum, room is very small) Metropolitan (the club, very nice NY lounge kinda feel) Coral house (smaller room kinda looked like a library??) Brideview Yacht Club (the main building, not the tented space) Caffe on the Green (Bayview Room) Inn at New Hyde Park (was shown a smaller room downstairs before renovations were complete...not sure if still available. Call them) Milleridge Carriage house (60 minimum)
There are more but these are my top choices and I looked at 30 places for our small wedding!

The Metropolitian has a min of 60 for a Sat night in June the max is 130

My Rh has a max of 119 so that is perfect. They have a great space and the food is fantastic!!! The web site doesn't do it justice and please feel free to FM me!

Leonards has an amazing room 4 a 50 person room, also look at fox hollow, i think the winter pavillion room might work and it is gorgeous!

Also Chateau La Mer has a smaller room upstairs

Fox Hollow and Chateau La Mer didn't work for me. They wanted higher minimums.

Douglaston Manor was willing to do a 50 person minimum when I checked it out, although their prices were very expensive. Most likely due to having such a small guarantee.

Three Village Inn in Stony Brook--but ask about a Wedding Dinner, almost completely the same as a reception, but a lot less $$$.

the meadow club has a room for 75 ppl and they are great there that is the room that im going to be using
