Rice cooker/ veggie steamer??

I seem to be doing something wrong with my rice cooker, my rice comes out hard. Mine is a 1to1 ratio. I swear I follow it, but to no avail hard rice. However I made rice on the stove last night and perfecto!!!!!!

I will try using it one more time though.

I love our rice cooker! 1 to 1 ratio is not right at all, though! It's generally 1 to 2.... I wonder why yours says differently.

my rice cooker is i.e 2 cups of rice/2 cups of water.

Right, that's what I mean... that's a 1 to 1 ratio, like you said. Most rice is cooked at 1 to 2, like 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water. Very odd rice cooker you got there!

Right, that's what I mean... that's a 1 to 1 ratio, like you said. Most rice is cooked at 1 to 2, like 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water. Very odd rice cooker you got there!

I guess I confused you. When I cook on the stove I cook 1 to 2.
