How much did your huge e-ring cost?? whoever votes $30.001 is a stinking liar! at least I'd like to think so

I'm going to make a statement to all........put the price of the ring on here....not the appraisal price that doesn't seem accurate for those who have been posting. If FH paid 10K for it, but it was appraised for $16k, put 10...the poll is what was paid....appraisals are always higher.

Also, if FH didn't pay for the ring himself, then you shouldn't be voting here. JMO.

I agree 100%, you're supposed to put how much FH PAID for it! Appraisals don't count! I am not remaking this poll though so whoever voted wrong should revote!! LOLOLOL, madness

my ring is 1 carat center stone with 3/4 tcw around it and it was under $2500

i dont know why all these rings are so expensive

It depends on the clarity and cut of a diamond. Once you go under VVS for clarity http://www.bluenile.com/diamond_clarity.asp or under a Very Good cut http://www.bluenile.com/diamond_cut.asp?track=educationMenuTop, the cost of the ring significantly decreases. Also remember that side stones are pricey if they are near-perfect stones, or even perfect ones....regardless of their size.

once you go F and higher, it starts to look cloudy or yellow

good clarity is VVS1, VVS2, VS1
it is very very small inclusions(fibers or tiny imperfections not seen without a jeweler's loop)
very small inclusions
inclusions (which can be seen with the naked eye)
