how do you spell it without any r's..

the answer is IT...its all in the way its phrased. that's why on one of the previous posts someone mentioned the -gry riddle was phrased wrong.

the way Jennbaby posted the question and the way it was posted the first time are different that is why the answer that Shamma gave doesnt make any sense. In Jennbaby's question, it clearly states that there are 3 words in the English language that end in GRY. That is where it throws you off...
