I need to have my ring appraised since FH custom designed it from different rings. Anyways....i got my ring back in december and of course it doesn't look as perfect as the day I received it. Does that matter? I mean does it matter that there are some scratches and my white gold isn't as white as it used to be. I need to have my ring dipped and cleanned but I have to get it appraised first for insurance reasons. Does any of this matter or is it really just based on the quality of the diamonds and the overall design??

no, none of that matters the value is the weight of the gold and the actual stones

oohhh ok. It just made me nervous and FH didn't want the appraisal to be bad sine we didn't do it right away. It is a certified diamond so I guess I have to bring that documentation with me.
