I mean...does it match PERFECTLY? Here is my situation...... I feel in love with a wedding band... I want to wear it with my e-ring but it doesn't go exactly with the E-ring...will this look silly? My E-ring has a round stone in the middle and four small round channel set diamonds on each side. The wedding band I love is 5 round diamonds lined up in a row in a prong setting totalling 1 carot...the diamonds are bigger than the diamonds in the channel set (if this was channel set it would match better....but then again...they are all round stones so it kinda goes together)

Re: Ring Poll........
Mine have some similar features (round stones and baguettes), but don't match up when I put them on together. I don't care! Someday I'll probably wear mostly my band alone anyway.

Re: Ring Poll........
I didn't want to get the matching wedding band that went with my e-ring since it basically was the e-ring with a baguette where the diamond is. What I did is have a band made to complement my ering. My ering is a princess cut diamong with 6 baguettes on each side and two gold x's-platinum ring. My wedding ring is platinum band alternating 3 baguettes and 2 small princess cut diamonds inlaid in the band. They look really nice togehter (Sorry don't have a pic).

Mine don't match at all and I LOVE how they look together...
As long as you love it, why should they match? YOU have to be happy with them since it's you who will be wearing them and looking at them 'for all the days of your life'...

My band is basically the same as dleeny's and this is my e-ring. Not a perfect match, but lots of bling so I don't mind

Re: Ring Poll........
i love my e-ring and new getting it i'd never find anything to match - its a princess cut in an engraved setting and i love love love it but there is no setting that matches for a w-band. i'd like either a plain band or an engraved band (doesnt have to be the same engraving) and anything will look nice.
all that matters is that you love it!! The way i see it is diamonds go with everything

Re: Ring Poll........
My wedding band doesn't match my e-ring in the matching set sense, but they do look beautiful together.

Re: Ring Poll........
For my mom's 24th anniversary, she got your version of that ring, antique Tiffany :) It looks SOOOO overdone with her 2ct platinum engagement ring (which is like yours only with more filigreed stuff on it).
And people STARE!
And you know what? It doesn't matter! If it makes YOU happy, why not?
To be honest, my fiance's wedding band is yellow gold and mine is a diamond-studded white gold band of a different width and finish...but you know what? Doesn't change the fact we're getting married...if we're happy that we each got what we wanted, what's the difference, you know?
