I am wondering if most girls would rather have a normal size ring that is near colorless, with little imperfections.....or a bigger rock.
Can you really tell the different between a VS1 and VVS1? OR F vs H in color. Hmmmm I am not a diamond expert but just feel like hearing what everone has to say!
Mine is pretty good color and clarity and unless I hold it up to a crappy one....who would know?!?! I also keep my ring very clean and some people have actuallycommented that they can tell it is good clarity/etc. I am appreciative that FH took so much time to pick out this beauty!

I cant even begin to tell you girls what I put poor FH through. However, in retrospect, we started off very young (high school sweethearts) and I'm very glad things worked out the way they did and i'm even more glad that I listened to my heart and not my head when it was telling me to give up and walk away

Haha, okay you'll have us beat by 1/2 a year. When we get married in August it'll be 10 years for us.

I dont think the carbon is a big deal. I didnt notice it in my friends until she showed me!!!!!!

I think that if you really look at it from the outside - it's not so much the amount of time you are together, but other factors like, where you are in your life, financially, mentally, etc. And whether or not it's the right time to be planning a wedding. Then of course there are situations where its just not what one person really wants and thats when it gets sticky. Of course - I prob would not be speaking so practically if I didnt have a ring on my finger right now

It's not the size, it's the sentiment.
But since you asked... I'd rather have a smaller, better quality ring than a large cloudy stone. JMO
eta: FH and I were together a little over three years when he proposed... LOL I thought that was a long time!

honestly, i dont even know what VS1, VVS1 or what f and h mean at all. I hear people talk about it but im just like hmmmm ok whatever lol. Just bc i have one diamond ring i dont feel i need to become an expert at diamonds ...if you love your ring thats all that matters

My FH actually learned about the 4 C's before he brought my ring (so he says lol) but honestly I wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. It's all the same to me. I love him no matter what type of diamond he gave me
