Yeah, after my friend saw my engagement ring she made sure to tell her fiance to return hers and get a huge diamond which is a G. I have always wanted a 1.5 carat D FL and that is what my husband get for me not just a big worthless diamond.

This was tough for my FH. He did not understand why I wanted a smaller higher quality diamond than a bigger less quality diamond. he kept on trying to convince to go for the bigger diamond. I insisted on the better quality diamond and I must tell you it is perfect!

Exactly, that is exactly what I wanted a perfect diamond which is flawless. Everywhere I go people compliments on both of rings.

My husband actually picked out the diamond first and he insisted he wanted the perfect stone.

quality, definitely. FH is always telling me he could have gotten be a bigger ring, but chose to get a small one that is near perfect. I am happy he did that. I love my sparkly ring.

the higher the quality, the brighter the diamond, the bigger it looks on your finger. you get bigger wattage out of a higher quality diamond over a lower quality bigger stone.
