Has anyone every stayed in one in Cabo or Playa del Carmen? A friend suggested them to me last night to look into for the honeymoon. We want to stay in Vegas for a few days and then go to a beach for a few days. Originally we said Vegas then St Lucia but the logistics don't make sense (you have to have a connecting flight in NY) but Vegas to Mexico makes sense. I checked on tripadvisor and saw really good reviews about both places I was just wondering if any of your girls have any feedback. Thanks!

The riu in Playa Del Carmen was probably the most AMAZING vacation I ever took. Everything about that resort was perfect. It was Romantic, the food is unbelievable, the drinks are never weak and the beaches and pools are awesome. I highly suggest it!

i stayed in the riu in puerto plata and it was awesome!! the sangria was STRONG!! lol
