Were you able to take home food from the vienesse hour?

there is so much food that no one would ask for seconds... do you mean the entrees?

seriously, none of my friends danced with me and their excuse was they were too stuffed from all the food, esp at the CH

we did the duck a l'orange, chicken with artichoke, prime rib AND stuffed shrimp which sounds like the flounder. The stuffed shrimp was the only thing I tasted and it was delicious!

tell them to eat their hearts out at the CH! I cannot imagine anyone asking for seconds - i still say CH food is the best and so much better than dinner entrees

I know they put the cake in front of your table with FH...

I said I didn't want the cake right in front of us so they are putting it behind and off to the side. We're sitting in front of the window but the bride and groom can also sit on the dance floor if you want more tables off the dance floor.

Re: Riviera

What are some of the dishes that people raved about from your CH?

Re: Riviera

Is the cake handed out per person or put at the Vienesse table?

Good question! I know at some places they hand out whatever (i think this is how the Riviera does it) but people wind up with a filling they dont like which is no fun

Anybody have the chicken francaise?

Are they still doing the sorbet intermezzo? The old book has it but the new one does not. That was one of the things I was looking forward to!

Re: Riviera

They told me that if when you booked there they had the intermezzo then you still have it. they are phasing it out though.
