I, too, just got married there this past weekend and had what can now go down in history as the best day of my life!

I can't speak much about the entrees b/c I'm not really a huge food critic, but I had a little of each dish (filet mignon, sea bass, duck, and chicken princess) and thought they were all great!

The biggest hit, by far, was the lobster bar we got at the cocktail hour. People could not get enough of it!

As for the other details such as chair coverings and fake flowers... I have to say I didn't even give them a second thought on the day of our wedding. The room looked AMAZING - fake flowers and all! :-P

Besides, people spent way more time enjoying the views outside than critiquing the interior. Seriously, having our wedding at the Riviera was the best choice we could have made - it was everything we had hoped for... and more!

oh my goodness your gazebo flowers were AMAZING!!!! Please post more pics when you can!!

Thank you so much for giving us your advice!! It makes me SO happy to hear from girls who got married their! I'm so happy you were happy with how everything went!! I didn't even notice a lobster bar option! I'm going to have to look into that (FH is going to be none to pleased with me wanting to add that haha)

thank you thank!

i won't get the pro-shots back for a couple of months, but i'll post more non-pro ones if people send them my way. credit for the gazebo flowers go to flowers by brian - they did an OUTSTANDING job, exceeding all of my expectations. highly, highly recommend!

as for the lobster bar - that was an add-on, but it was worth it - i'm telling you, people LOVED it! they also really enjoyed the desserts at the end of the night (as did i!!!)

I agree...loveee those archway flowers? If you don't mind me asking- how much extra is something like that?

Also- for you girls who just had your weddings there, does Riviera block off the CH area from the reception area so guests don't see it before the reception begins? I know it's sorta all one big room and the reception area has the bathroom, but still hoping for a little bit of surprise, ya know!

They didn't block off the CH area from the ballroom for us, but our CH was outside so everyone went right from ceremony to outdoor CH and didn't see the ballroom. I know that they can block off the dance floor from the rest of the ballroom and CH room if you have an indoor ceremony, but I don't know if they have the capability to block off the CH room only. And like you said, the bathroom is in the reception area too.

For me people were going into the ballroom before the ceremony even started, they were sneaking in through the CH room, but I didn't really care because it wasn't all lit up or anything so there was still a little surprise when everyone came in from CH
