Re: RK Bridal - Plus Sizes??
Yay!!! So happy to hear it was a great experience... Mine was successful too! Not sure I found 'the one' yet either… I might have because there is one in particular that I'm loving but I want it in ivory with silver beads and the consultant wasn't sure it could come in that combination... still waiting to hear back. David's Bridal was a great experience... just about every dress I tried on they were able to tie/zip me completely up… even the dresses that were a size or two too small they were able to zip up part way and then they give you a strapless bodice undergarment and slip so that I never felt exposed. The consultant helped me get into every dress (and again with the bodice and slip I never felt uncomfortable) and with the corset tops she took the time to completely lace me up. I also went to Paradise Bridal in Patchogue which was another successful experience. They did have dresses for me to try on but not every dress that caught my eye was in a workable size. In these cases they did use the “jumper cable” clips so I could see how the dress would look but coming out of the dressing room with my bra and underwear exposed was uncomfortable so it look a lot for me to get past it. But eventually I did (especially when the crowd thinned out at the end of the night)… the consultant left me to get in and out of the dresses myself which was both welcomed and resented… welcomed because I didn’t want to feel exposed with no slip… resented because there were a number of times where the layers of the dress would get bunched up. She never laced me up completely but that was ok…
My next stop is Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point and then I might hit up one more place… Good luck with the rest of your search!!!
