Re: Rolling Pin
we are using rolling pin... we tried the vanilla cake with chocolate mousse, chocolate pudding, and cannoli with chocolate chips.... we couldn't decide between the mousse and cannoli so we are having a layer of each in each tier

Re: Rolling Pin
I did a tasting with the Rolling Pin recently, here is a mini-review:
I LOVE their Red Velvet!! Their cream cheese filling is awesome too!
The vanilla is good, to me it tastes more like Angel food. I liked the cannoli filling too.
Don't waste your time on the custard with fresh bananas ...
I hope this helps!

Rolling Pins cakes takes AMAZING! However, look at this picture of MY CAKE they created for my April wedding. It was so lopsided and ruined all my cake pictures! BEWARE when using them!
Im a VYC bride too!!! Im using the Rolling Pin obviously bc they are included in the price for RH.....anyways, my coworkers daughter just recently got engaged and they had an engagement party. They got the cake from the Rolling Pin. I told my coworker thats where im getting my wedding cake from so she brought me in a piece of cake so I can taste it. OMG!!!!! It was AMAZING!!! Delicious!! Im very hapy that it was so good. They had the chocolate w/ raspberry jam filling and it was sooooooo good! Im a chocolate lover! Im probably going to have the Chocolate w/ raspberry filling for my cake.

Re: Rolling Pin
I was nervous about it too because of a recent post, but I wasn't getting any upgrades and it was included in my package. This is one of the areas that I wasn't too picky about. I put in the order last minute, never did a tasting! :/
BUT. . .everything worked out well. It tasted great! I got vanilla and canolli with chocolate chip filling.
I got a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and it was AMAZING! My guests still rave about my cake to this day. People thought the cake was so delicious that multiple tables lied to the wait staff and said they never got any cake just so they could have a second piece!
oh..and my cake looked great too. LOVED IT!

i didnt even notice it until i saw all the pictures afterwards. at that point i didnt feel like arguing. i had a major issue w/the limo company and didnt feel like fighting even more. besides, the cake was part of a package so i didnt think there was anything they would do, its not like i was charged for it. rolling pin gets an F in my book! Lesson to be learned.
