Where can FH and I have a romantic dinner for our 1 year engagement anniversary.???? im sick of the same places...
Any one have any suggestions?

If you're open to Travelling, there's a WONDERFUL Italian restaurant in Eastchester, NY. It's only a 15-20 min drive from Queens. It's called CASA BRUSCO. Delicious food and great atmosphere!
There's also a wonderful (pricey) place in Douglaston near the railroad called IL TOSCANO. It's down the road from Giardinos.

Verona in Farmingdale (directly across the street from SUNY). The food is soooo good there!

Volare in the city is probably the most romantic place I have ever been to!
If you want something closer, I suggest Villa D'Avanzo or Nico at the Gatsby.
Romantic makes me think Italian!

For my bday FH took me to the Restaurant at Fox Hollow, it was amazing. The food was out of this world! And I loved the setting.

FH and I went to the Melting Pot for our Valentine's Day dinner. It was our first time there, so it was VERY different.

Very romantic - either Harvest on Hudson, which is about 20 minutes from Western Nassau or Harvest on Fort Pond in Montauk. Food is great at both, and the ambiance is very romantic!

all extremely romantic & great food!

Prime in Huntington on the harbor is awesome, especially if it's a nice night during summer! It's my favorite steak house, does get a little pricey though.

Oooo yea I forgot about Polo. FH took me there on my 21st birthday.
ETA: Oh and Peter Luger's is also a great choice as well.

I got engaged at River Cafe! It's wonderful! The food is delicious and the scenery is amazing!
