Hi, can anyone recommend a hotel, inn, or B&B in Newport RI? We're looking for a romantic place nearby to spend our wedding weekend, preferably with an indoor pool or jacuzzi or something... something relaxing!

Agreed...22 Bowen's is great. FH had a suprise dinner for me there with friends the night we got engaged Also good is Scales & Shells on Thames St. We had our 1st date there & we LOVE it there.
The hotels PreshuSmurf listed are all nice. I have been to Ocean Cliff for 2 weddings & its beautiful. Chanler is beautiful as well & right on the Cliff Walk.
Newport has some great B&Bs/inns so I would consider staying in one of those too. I HIGHLY Recommend Castle Hill Inn - Awesome Sunday brunch there as well. The Admiral Fitzroy on Thames St Ivy Lodge Malborne House

DH and I stayed at the Bayberry Inn for our honeymoon. Very nice, romantic, and relaxing. I highly recommend it.
I stayed at the Beech Tree Inn about two years ago. The owner is very nice and the rooms were very comfy. I checked the website recently and it looks like they've upgraded the rooms and looks even nicer. If i were to visit newport again, i would definitely stay there.

FH and I went last april and we had the best time!!
GO eat at the RED PARROT!!! AWESOME!!!!!
and you have to check out the cliff walk. and 1 or 2 of the mansions.. what an experience!
I would recommend going when it starts getting warmer. We went in April and it was still pretty chilly

We stayed at the hyatt last year, it was beautiful.
FH and I think its the best rest. ever.. what a menu!! we want to go back! hehe

I second the Hyatt on Goat Island. FH and I went several times for our anniversary. We actually go during New Years Eve (our anniversary is the 29th) and it is even pretty then. We get a room with a balcony overlooking the water and watch fireworks. We eat out and shop around and drive along the water...very pretty.
The food in the hotel's restaurant is excellent too!
Now I am sad that we haven't been able to go in a couple of years!
