Dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking the tree/ ice skating rink..
then ice skating and hot chocolate
or you can go to Serendipity III and get a frozen hot chocolate (like in the movie Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale)

There are a ton of things to do in Manhattan in the winter. Just wallking outside, holding hands with hubby, is romantic. You can walk on 5th ave, window shopping, central park, rock. tree etc etc
