All things I was going to suggest. Maybe go to the Top of the Rock. Eat at a nice restaurant that overlooks the tree...there are a few over there.

Tavern on the green in central park - (a little cliche but it's really pretty in the winter) i think small cozy restaurants in little italy, the circle line, (though might be cold in dec), if you like arts the opera is super romantic, or a show, top of empire state building,

i love that all that stuff!!!

horse carriage ride, or you can do a helicopter ride.

Then dinner at a romantic restaurant. IS your FH into plays? or maybe you can go to a different type of show that he would be interested in.

Totally agree! And I am voting for the Horse and Buggy ride around CP also. Pick up some hot chestnuts from a street vendor it will totally feel like Christmas! AHHH I want to do that right now hahah!

well Central park along in the christmas season is beautiful ... they have a skating rink in CP so thats fun .. the horse and buggy (but its like 60-90 dollars ) also walking around rockefeller center is great, seeing the tree and the Saks 5th ave display (the carol of the bells with the snowflakes) is awesome and my fav thing to do

That is my fav movie!!!

OK, this is not technically Manhattan, but you should consider going to Long Island City around sunset. You get absolutely stunning, unobstructed views of the east side of Manhattan -- UN, Chrysler, Empire State, etc. . It's so pretty to watch all of the lights come on. There are a bunch of piers all along the water where you can walk and appreicate the view. After you're done, there's a bunch of little restaurants in the area (some with the waterfront views) where you can go.

LIC is just one stop away from Grand Central so very easy to get to.

Oh i agree, i LOVE LIC. Gantry park is beautiful, you have such an amazing view of the city. Better view you'll get of the city than when you are in the city lol. Across the street theres also a restaurant called Riverview and it so delicious but also nice and romantic. Went there for v-day dinner

my FH loved the Blue Man Group. its a REALLY fun play-alternative.
