Rose Petals

Is anyone throwing rose petals instead of rice at the ceremony? I was just wondering if you ordered them with your flowers and wrapped them yourself or will the florist do it? or is there another place to get it done. Thanks!

Rose Petals

I got thenm from my florist - and we put them in a bag basket which was held by the maid of honour - and everyone grabbed a bunch as they came out of the church -

We're using rose petals. Our florist is giving them to us for free.

Rose Petals

We used silk flowers...got them from our florist as well. We made cones using paper doillies. I`ve heard that fresh rose petals can stain your wedding dress, you may want to try silk or freeze dried rose petals just in case! Good luck.

Rose Petals

We got rose petals for free from our florist. We put them in a basket and like Junebride everyone grabbed them leaving the church. The pictures look really nice with the petals.

Rose Petals

Since we are getting marreid at the watermill, they do not allow bubbles or rice/confetti. That's good for us, b/c I really wanted rose petals. Our florist is giving them to us, and we are placing them in a basket that will be passed around during the ceremony for guests to take a handful. We are going to go w/ mixed pinks

Rose Petals

im doing bubbles but I read somewhere of a bride who had dried all the roses her fiance gave her while they were engaged, (by hanging them upside down) and then used the dried petals to throw at the wedding - so no worries about staining and they had meaning

Nina...When do you throw the Rose Petals?

I am getting married at Villa Lombardis and I was wondering since we don't leave to go to the reception do the guests throw the rose pedals? I was just going to have my flower girl drop some as she made her way down the aisle.
