I'm trying to print out my envelopes and I have the mail merge all set up and a doc with all the addresses on the envelopes ready to print but I can't figure out how to get the envelopes to print sideways. D I need to rotate the document? HELP

You need to go into Envelope Options and then click on the tab that says Printing Options.
Look where it says 'Feed Method' and choose one. Then feed your envelopes through the same way that it's pictured.

Sorry, I use PC, don't know Mac.
Try this: Cut up some paper to be the size of your envelopes and try to print on those. Keep rotating it different ways until it prints out the way you want. Remember to draw a line or something on one side to represent the envelope flap, that'll give you a reference when it comes out of how you want to put the envelopes in.

If your doing it in word... i am just doing it now for the first time. (printing my envelopes later)
page setup ( in your print box)you should have pages with a arrow pointing a certain way.(orientation) I think you want the second choice for your envelope choice. Just verify it though, it will be on of those choices.

I was thinking it would be better to feed the envelopes in vertically to avoid getting the flap caught or something. Is this not right?
