anyone sail royal caribbean before? ive sailed princess and holland america but never royal. any reviews?

Love love love Royal Carribean.
Its a bit more upscale so you dont get all the teenage, young, 20 something guys drinking, rowdy people.

I have twice and I loved it! I would be afraid to go on another cruiseline now! I do think its a tad more upscale than carnival and some others but i think its worth a littl extra money.

I've only been on one cruise with RC and it was HORRIBLE. HOWEVER, I have a feeling that the ship we were on (Monarch of the Seas to the Bahamas) was kind of one of their bottom of the barrel ships so I don't know that it's the be all and end all of reviews. I came off of that cruise saying never again but now I'm thinking just never again on that boat.

We've sailed with Royal twice and are going again in April...we love them!!! Couldn't say enough about the service, the ships... I find the ships to extremely well kept and clean. Amazing vacation....we'll never sail with another.

I did two RC cruises last year and a princess this year. RC was less of a headache when it came time for excursions, our on board account plus their staff was much friendliness. The ships I have been on were the older ones- but still had a lot of fun. My parents cruise RC every year on their large ships and LOVE it! they refuse to try any other line.

We went on one for our Honeymoon. It was amazing! The food was great. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. We used Dawn from Cruise One (she's a vendor on here) to book. We had an awesome room with a balcony. We actually had so much fun each night meeting new people and have kept in contact with them via facebook.

Sailed on RC's Inaugral season of Mariner of the Seas... it was like a floating city...so big. FH and I loved it. I recently just cruised Carnival...doesn't come close in comparison. FH has cruised with them in the past and just prefers them over others.

I'm going on their Freedom of the Seas in November with FI. Can't wait!
Check out cruisecritic.com you can find a ton of honest reviews! I haven't even sailed yet but i highly recomend them!

Royal Caribbean is the absolute BEST! I have sailed Royal Caribbean & Princess & you just can't compare. Princess I felt like there was definately a more rowdy, party crowd. Royal Caribbean- the staff is EXCELLENT (they will bend over backwards for you), ships are amazing & they bring you to the best ports (I took a Princess cruise to the caribbean & they dropped us off in the middle of nowhere- you had to take a bus and/or local transportation to every excursion & beach. At every port, there was a Royal Caribbean ship right in town). I HIGHLY recommend RC!
