royal prestige trip + gift cert.
i 'won' a $100 gift certificate from royal prestige but never heard from them after the bridal showcase. they called tonight and as an apology for not calling me a month ago, they are giving me one of those 3-day, 2-night trips to jamaica or mexico, etc. is this legit? has anyone gone on one of these freebies? will i have to sit through some long thing or be staying at a horrible place? they`re coming to my house to show me all the kitchen stuff, which is okay i guess because maybe i can get a frying pan with my gift cert. do i have to spend a million dollars to use my hundred? i've never said yes to one of these types of things so i'm just wondering if anyone has met with them...used a gift certificate...went on a trip. any info appreciated. thanks!

I did it. The presentation they have you sit thru is cool and then they tell you the price of everything. It is like $800 for four pots. Not worth it. Had a travel agent friend check out the travel voucher. One of those things were they tell you you are staying in a fancy hotel and then you get there and wind up in a nasty hotel. Sorry to burst your bubble. I do have a friend that bought the pots and loves them...little too expensive for my taste.

I also received one of those travel vouchers. They had called me saying that I won a free honeymoon to hawaii, mexico, orlando or las vegas. In order to pick this up, I had to go and listen to them talk about the pots and pans for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The pots are cool, but way too expensive. Anyways, it wasn't a 'free' honeymoon because air fare wasn't included. Then, we checked out the hotels that are supposed to be 4 star hotels. However, over the internet, they really didn't look like four star hotels. Someone had told me that it's totally legit, but don't expect the best. I still have this voucher, and might use it for a trip besides our honeymoon. It was a big tease and I'm a bit disappointed.Welcome New Vendors
