Royalton Brides

Royalton Brides

Just so you know I got direction cards and table setting cards from Gerard. They are very nice.

awesome.

Question -- are any of you not using the valet service?

I thought about the fact that the parking lot is so close and it might cause backup to have everyone wait for their cars to be parked.

Also, I like the look of the front door looking like a private house and it would be blocked by the valet.

Let me know your thoughts.

Just got my video last night! I've watched it twice already.

I used the valet. Its a personal thing for me-I like the idea of valet parking at a wedding. I just think it makes it a little classier.

I feel the same way about it being classier. That is why I'm torn about what to do.

I dont think anyone at my wedding complained that the parking situation got backed up....but I can ask around.

We were going to use the Valet Parking but decided not to. It is not a large lot.
We can use that money toward the tips for the night.

Okay I'm not a Royalton bride, but I'm meeting with Gerard again for the second time on Saturday. I'm so excited. We LOVE it there.

Sorry, had to share.

I can't find ANY place that can compare to what the Royalton offers and how it looks (especially no ugly carpet) and it is fairly reasonably priced. It's not as inexpensive as a wedding mill catering hall but thats the point, it's a custom wedding that caters to only you.

Good luck, I hope you book it! We need more Royalton brides on here.

Couldnt agree more...(especially about the carpet part). the Royalton is a really special place, and they really do a phenomenal job. I can send you pics of my wedding if you want!

You are so right about the ugly carpet. Although I really love the Glen Cove Mansion, I HATE the carpet. FH says it looks like Vegas casino carpeting.

Royalton is just perfect. I'm smiling just thinking about it!!!

Re: Royalton Brides

I'm inviting about 220 guaranting 200. I was worried about the size at first but then I went and saw it al set up for 210 and it was perfect.

I'm also having an 11 piece band but Mike T said 'No Problem' and I know Faze4 plays there a lot and they are a large band as well.

Let's keep this Royalton thread going.

I saw one of you mention that you are doing the farewell table. What are you doing for it?

We had a 9 piece band and it wasnt a problem. They recently built out a space for the band in the ballroom

Re: Royalton Brides

I haven't decided if I'm definitly doing it but maybe either nuts, candy, chocolates. Something people can bag up and take home but nothing cheesy.

But I guess that is why we are all at the Royalton because we don't like cheesy.

Anyone have ideas for the farewell table?
