Is anyone planning on using the room? We were thinking about it, but the guys just went outside to smoke their cigars. Not that we could have anyway...it wasnt even done by then.

Hi Everyone,

As of next week I'm gonna be a Royalton Bride! 9-6-09!

Any good advice or tips for what to have or do. . . the possibility of choosing my own menu is leaving my head spinning!

YAY congrats on the royalton , it is an amazing place. as far as choosing your own menu, i have collected over the past year articles or recepies that look interesting . You have time to look around to get some idea's

I have somewhat of an idea for main courses- fillet mignon, chillean sea bass and a chicken dish , how it will be prepared I will leave up to the Royalton .

they will help you select your menu If you want and can give you past events and their menu's for idea's !

Congrats! Dont worry about the menu.....they will help and make suggestions as what goes over well. We had no clue. But I have to say that people RAVED about the food, so you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. One of our options was Chilean sea bass over risotto in a citrus sauce, and it was phenomenal. People are STILL telling me how amazing it was.

Welcome! I have no idea about choosing the menu, but whenever Gerard starts talking about food, I get SO HUNGRY. I think they know what they are talking about so I'll probably give them lots of creative authority.

I scheduled for july 1st . They might not want you to schedule over the summer, since your wedding is in december ( i am not 100% sure though) . They do have evening appointments and will work with your schedule , so discuss your concerns with them , i am sure they will accomodate you

Did everyone use the Royalton's direction cards or make their own? Does anyone who used them have a scanned copy? I was wondering what they look like.

i haven't seen them for myself yet...but i know someone who did use them and they were like the ivory stationary but thicker stock paper and the print that is on all the other stuff...the actual directions they give are the same as their website

For my December wedding, we did our tasting in Oct.
Winter food is amazing------ask for a swordfish----6 months later---still hearing about it!
