So I started thinking about the pictures that I'm bringing to put in the cocktail hour room. Are you girls going to bring frames from home, or are you going to get ones that match? I can't decide. All I know is that frames are not cheap (from where I've been looking)
I am doing pics.- lots of them! I am probably going to use some that are already framed in frames i really like and get some new ones to go with those. You can definitely get really nice and very inexpensive frames from places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls!
I have the original wedding portraits from each of my grandparents' weddings in these old matching frames so we are definitely using those somehow. I know I want some baby pictures. I like the idea of mismatching frames, I think.

I don't think I'm doing pics at all...just a hassle to bring them and I have been to weddings before where I didn't even notice them until we were leaving becuase so many people fill the room.
I might just put some candles on the bookshelves.

I was thinking the same thing about the scrapbooks. I made one for FH for each anniversary of our past year together, so I was thinking about having those on the coffee tables. I actually just got back from my FMIL house where she told us about Michaels having a 50% off sale on frames. I might head there after work tomorrow.
LOL about the 80's wedding- I still have some bridesmaid dresses from a few that I was in....hot pink!! Awful!

Seriously though.. when I think about when we purchase a home.. right after thinking about Pearl River and where we want to live and what I want the house to look like.. I think ALARM system! I do also watch a lot of creepy TV like the investigators and things about crazy murderers and mystery crimes and such.

Is your name Kerri too? I think I saw someone calling you Kerri on one of the posts. And being that it's my name and you are another Royalton Bride... I can't help but remember that.
I just got one of those frames for Xmas... and when i read your post I thought how cute! then I thought.. oh what if she never sees it again. Not that I don't trust the people I invite.. but I might not know all the guests... and yes i would expect to have only honest people there.... but being someoen who has had their bag stolen in the past I have this fear of things being stolen... do you think that would happen? Are you worried at all about that? Or am I just a nervous freak about it because of what happened to me? My house was also broken into a long long time ago when I was a kid... so I just have this built in fear now.

Just so you know...I got some nice wood and glass frames from the Dollar Tree... You may find ones you like there.... only a dollar a pop you can't go wrong.![]()

yes I am another Kerri and Royalton bride! I also love that we spell Kerri the same way. I don't see it like that often. yea my fam is super Irish.. so since we aren't from county Kerry in Ireland they wanted to use the i instead of the y because we are from Claire and Sligo. Silly peeps I'm related too. but I do like the i and you are totally right... I don't see a lot of Kerri's with an i. Actually I don't meet too many Kerri's in general either... and whenever I say my name people call me either Terry or Karen or Kelly. Ha ha .. I'm sure you get all that too... and the same nick names... like Kerri Berry!
My planning is going good so far. the most recent thing we booked was the DJ.. FM Entertainment. Now we need transportation (I want a trolley or bus and an antique car) and my personal least favorite ..... DRESSES! I hate dress shopping. I leave places with my head spinning and I am soooo petrified to make the wrong decision. It's by far my scariest encounter yet! So far I have 2 dresse to decide between.. and so I want to keep looking. I cried and got the feeling 2 times.. and I think i am just starting to drive myself crazy about it.
How is your planning going? How many times do you just want to go to the royalton to just see it again?!?!?!?!?

Total change of subject here, but I just wanted to say that I always loved the name Kerri... FH and I were just talking about this the other day that our 2nd daughter will be named that. LOL. So far the first is Natalie. LOL. Always loved that name as well.l HAHA. Just wanted to share. HA

Planning is good, I am done with the big stuff...and doing inviations now.
I love the Royalton and would love to pop in everyday hahah!
Everyone will still be on here after we are married to see everyones pictures! I saw on 08 there were a few girls who got married at the Royalton recently and there are no pics. up! I want to see more pics! I really want to go back there soon- my fh's parents haven't even been yet so we will be going to show them soon!
