girls - does the radisson have an all-inclusive plan? i was looking online and it's gorgeous but FH and i really want all inclusive. my travel agent had mentioned the wyndam, the occidental and the divi to me... but the occidental is under construction now and is supposed to be done in august but i'm not sure i want to chance it. it's our HM and i don't want any construction going on (so the hyatt's definitely out, though it looks beautiful!) she also mentioned the divi but said something about it not being right on the beach? what about the bucuti, is that all inclusive??

The Occidental was originally scheduled to be re-opened in Dec 2005 and was a real Sh*thole before that. It scared me that they still havent reoppened, so we decided to go with the Divi instead. The Divi is right on the beach, definately.

I've been at the Radisson - had a wonderful time there. Many many months ago, I wrote a review of my trip and posted it on the honeymoon board - if you search for me there and aruba, it should come up. I don't think they do all inclusive, and honestly, if you can swing it, I wouldn't recommend it - Aruba has lots of really great restaurants - many are pricey but some are not so bad (like Smokey Joe's, which serves deep fried oreos - sounds gross, but it's the best dessert I've ever had). *For all those going to Aruba, I strongly suggest not doing all inclusive. The restaurants there are so good and are worth it! *

thanks girls!! i'll talk to FH and see what he thinks... we're doing 6 nites in each aruba and disney so as far as money goes, we may need an all inclusive (especially for the liquor... we have very stressful jobs!!! ) but i'd love to be able to try all those restaurants... plus i love the pics of the radisson. we'll see what the big man says

does anyone have any idea when the construction is scheduled to end at the Hyatt. We're thinking of spending our honeymoon there but if the constructin is set to go on through next summer we might decide to stay somewhere else.
