So after much thought and consideration Dom and I arent going to Italy as originally planned for our honeymoon.(we dont want to get up early for tours or live out of suitcases...lol)
Instead, we have decided to go to Hawaii...
Does anyone have any good recommendations of hotels on the Big Island and the island that Waikiki is on?

The Hilton Hawaii Village is really nice. It's located right on Waikiki Beach on Oahu. For the Big Island we've stayed at The Hapuna Prince. The hotel was ok but it could really use updating.
I'm not sure if you have your heart set on The Big Island but I wasn't that impressed. We went to Volcano National Park expecting to see lava pouring into the ocean and that just wasn't happening. It was just very disappointing on the whole. Not a whole lot going on there.

we're staying at the Kahala in Oahu (waikiki) and Kona Village on the BI DOPE hotels!!! seriously go check em out!

Thats what I am afraid of- everyone says that the Big island is better and Ohau is yucky but Ohau seems to have more to see and do
