I think Im in love with the Inn @ New Hyde Park and I have started planning on looking at halls. It may or may not be too early but Im excited to go hall seeing esp to the Inn. I just finished viewing the Inn's website and its stunning in there But I need more info before I go see it.
How long is a reception for a sat night? How much for a sat night in fall/summer/winter? (2010) Do they play the piano for guests? (seen on site) Do they provide you with pink candles (seen on site sooo pretty)? Do they have Viennese hour? Do they provide you with alot of food? (Greek wedding so alot of food is key lol)
Anything else, please help girls!!! Thanks sooo much!!!

The web site doesnt even do the place justice. It is absolutely beautiful. And the new cocktail hour room they are building is going to be amazing.
I dont have all the answers...but I was quoted $208 (that includes tax and gratuity) for a Saturday night in November. Octo would have been more.
The package was 1 hr CH and 4 hours for reception. The menu looks great...but pretty standard to what most places offer in regards to amount of food. You can add extras that you want, including vienese hour.
If it works with your budget, it's a great place. Unfortunately it was about $50 pp over my budget : (

My cocktail hr starts at 7 and is an hr and a 1/2 long, afterwards is reception till 12:30
Friday from april-july will run you about $156 pp after tax Saturday from april-july will run about $170 pp after tax
I dont know about the piano, but that room serves signature cocktails upon entering, and you may place your engagement photos on the piano and above the fireplace
I don't know about pink candles, but they do provide candles on all tables
Yes, they have viennese hr for extra $..if you opt not to have it you can choose pasteries, icecream, or a few other choices to go with your wedding cake and coffee
YES..their food selection is crazy. i have 7 entree choices, and he's throwing another 1 in to make it 8. cocktail hr has everything you can think of including a chinese station, lava rock station, and many others
