RP: OOT bags??

Starting to think about these (budget wise) and have a few questions

What exactly should I put in them?

Do I distribute one per couple or one per person??

Thanks for your help!

Re: RP: OOT bags??

I just did mine the other day, I am going to put pics in my album tomorrow (don't have my camera here)...but they were super easy..I was dreading doing one more wedding related project but it ended up being kinda fun
I had magnets made up at zazzle.com that has a light house (for a long island theme) with our names and wedding date (arrived in 3 days!)
we made one bag per room, so 48 total
then I printed our monogram on shipping labels and stuck them on white bags, added a piece of cardstock with that cute OOT bag poem and filled the bag with snacks and pink shredded paper grass
we included the following:
chips ( I was going to order North Fork chips for the LI theme, but ran out of time)
pretzels
m&m's
two bottles of water (oooh with cute labels I made on the computer, let me know if you need the link to the template)
nutragrain bar
peanut butter crackers
fruit snacks
twizlers

don't know the exact total cost but it ended up being way less expensive than I thought it would be

hope that helps

Re: RP: OOT bags??

We're going to do one per room (a family of 4 will get more stuff than 2 people, though)

-water
-chips
-cookies
-pretzels
-gum
-mints
-fruit
-candy bar

We're also including a croissant, and muffin, maybe a mini box of cereal since we're not having a breakfast the next morning.

All in, we plan on spending about $8-$10 per OOT box. We're definitely hitting costco!

Re: RP: OOT bags??

We made a little bag,
completely full of treats,
whether your mouth gets dry and thirsty,
or your in the mood for sweets.

It’s just a small token,
full of our love, hugs and kisses,
to thank you for the trip you’ve made
to see the new Mr. and Mrs.

don't know where i got that from sorry

the link for the labels is
http://weddings.shanbritedesigns.com/templates.htm

you need publisher though to use it

Re: RP: OOT bags??

I left it up to my Mom to decide whether SHE wants to do them because I just cant be bothered! LOL
I told her it might be a good idea to put:
water
ASPRIN
granola bars
directions to our house for a family bar b que the next day
(or a map to some things to do in the area)
gum or mints

I'd leave one bag per couple for every hotel room that was booked.
