Hi Ladies,

Is there a way to get my period a week earlier than I am now?? I am trying to figure out if there's a way and I know you girls always know everything! I may just have to ask my gyno.

That totally makes sense...and that is what I was thinking also. I actually have my period now, but I will do that for my next cycle...I just want to have it figured out for June. As of right now I will be getting my period a week before the big day and I wanted to make it 2 weeks before because I tend to break out pretty badly when I have my period! Thanks so much for your help!!

You can also not take the last week of regular pills - that will give you a three week cycle - you will get your period a week earlier and then go back to taking the pill like normal.

if you do it this way, be sure to use a back up method!

eta if you are sensitive to breakouts, altering your cycle may mess you up even more. just a thought.

I finagled my period to avoid having it for the wedding and honeymoon. I skipped the sugar pills over two months which moved my period by two weeks...it was over a week before my wedding which was perfect - no bloat, no red stuff in a white dress or bathing suit!

I would recommend consulting with your doctor though...jsut to make sure he/she is okay with it.
