RSVP Enclosure...how can I state this another way?

You know the
M___________________________

where people are supposed to write:

Mr/Miss/Mrs and their name....

I want to put something instead b/c I have a feeling people do not know what to put on that line....

TIA.

The only thing that I can think of is to type in their name (I think Hollie did it like that?).

Yeah, I didn't want to do that - I was hoping that the guest wold fill in exaclty how they wanted thier name to appear on their placecard.

Can you just make a blank line without the M? Or maybe underneath a blank line put [name(s)]?

when my friend had her wedding and i received her invitation and looked at the rsvp card it had that 'M' and i had NO clue what to put there...i had to ask my mother and she told me..Why don't you just write out Mr/Mrs/Miss? and make the name line a little smaller?

I'm sure people will know what to put.

If not, they'll just call your mother like you did.

I would either write our the surnames listed above or put Names of Guest(s):

I think it would be a pain in the butt to do it that way too.... but I couldn't come up with anything better.... but now that I've read every one elses suggestions I like the Name underneath the solid line idea. Also because having a hyphenated first name.... both our names never fits!!!!!

just leave it the way it is. I am sure they will figure it out Christine.

It's pretty standard, I'm sure most people will know what to write

and if they dont just lightly # the resonses in the back with a pencil. that way if they dont fill it in you could just check the # on the back when you recieve it

This is what our says:

Names______________

____ will attend

____ will not attend

____ total number in party attending

(I'm hoping it's dummy proof..I don't want to be confused by people's replies, so I felt the need to spell everything out)

I don't think you have to change it. I think most people would know or would ask someone if they didn't.

I agree, every invite I've seen has the M.

I do think it's odd, but that's the norm.
